Directions

Apply generously and evenly to face, neck, and chest 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply as needed or after swimming, washing, towel drying or heavy perspiring.

Micronised Zinc Oxide: A safe, micro-fine mineral that offers broad-spectrum protection from both UVA (ageing) and UVB (sunburn-causing) rays without leaving residual chalkiness on skin. Zinc oxide is known as a physical sunscreen agent, largely reflecting and scattering UV rays.

Titanium Dioxide: A safe naturally occurring mineral coated for sun stability, titanium dioxide offers broad-spectrum protection from both UVA (aging) and UVB (sunburn-causing) rays. Like zinc oxide, titanium dioxide is known as a physical sunscreen agent, largely reflecting and scattering UV rays.

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate: A stable form of the powerful antioxidant vitamin C, which protects the skin against UV-induced free radical damage. It also brightens the skin and evens out skin tone.

Tocopherol Acetate: An effective form of vitamin E for the skin, this highly moisturising and fat-soluble vitamin acts as an antioxidant, which strengthens the effect of vitamin C.

Resveratrol: Derived either from grape seeds or the Japanese knotweed plant, this antioxidant neutralises free radical damage.

Glutathione: An antioxidant peptide produced naturally in our bodies, glutathione helps recycle other antioxidants. Glutathione levels decrease with age.

ELIX-IR™: Knotgrass extract which is rich in flavonoids, and protects the skin against the damaging effects of infrared (IR).

Physavie®: A plant extract that shields against the effects of IR and visible light (HEV).

Is this suitable for dry skin?

Yes, Sheer Hydration is packed with moisturising ingredients (like Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid), making it perfect for normal-to-dry skin types that find other mineral sunscreens too chalky or drying.

Does it leave a white residue?

The "Sheer" technology ensures that the Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide blend seamlessly. On very dark skin tones, the Tinted version may be preferred for a completely invisible finish, but the Untinted version blends significantly better than traditional mineral sunscreens.

Can I use this as my daily moisturiser?

For many people with normal skin, this provides enough hydration to double as a morning moisturiser and sunscreen in one step. If you are very dry, layer it over HydraDew or HydraRich.

Why did the label change from SPF 42 to SPF 30?

The formula remains exactly the same. The label change is solely to align with updated EU regulatory standards regarding how SPF testing values are categorised on packaging. You are receiving the exact same protection profile as before.
